Parallel Intermix Device (PID)
Galley Power's Parallel intermix devices (PID) enable safe and efficient paralleling of Li-ion 6T batteries, even when they have different ages and chemistries, etc. This innovation addresses critical challenges in military and commercial energy storage systems by improving battery life, performance, and reliability.
The PID features high-efficiency bi-directional power train for balancing stress in paralleled batteries without impacting transient or continuous power delivery, with controls integrating adaptive battery performance and life model based on real-life 6T battery test data. It is design to be compliant with MIL-PRF-32565 and have been tested extensively.
